Little Italy, Ottawa Patios Now Open on Preston Street

Summertime and Ottawa patio season are practically synonymous!

It’s that time of year when we breathe a collective sigh of relief now that winter has made its exit, and a short but sweet patio dining season is finally here.

This year’s start-up of Ottawa patio dining was delayed to the COVID-19 global pandemic. Folks around town have been cooped up at home in isolation for weeks and weeks, yearning for the chance to once again get out and enjoy soaring temperatures and take in that fresh, magnificent summer breeze.

Here at La Dolce Vita in Ottawa’s famed Little Italy, while we have stayed open to accommodate take-out and delivery orders, we’ve also been chomping at the bit, biding our time and relishing the thought of getting our Preston Street patio up and running once again.

Well folks, Ottawa patio season is finally upon us! Stage 2 of COVID re-opening is underway, and La Dolce Vita’s Preston Street patio in Little Italy is happily welcoming guests.

For years now, we’ve been delighting patrons with our menu of pasta, pizza, calzones, antipasti and more – including a selection of delicious gluten-free items.

Preston Street patio dining at La Dolce Vita has become something of a tradition as well. A lovely location for both lunch and dinner, our patio features a full menu of both food & drinks and is a hit with Ottawa foodies every summer.

Your health and safety, and the health & safety of our staff, have remained our highest priority.

This year, that meant limiting options to take-out and delivery for much of the spring.

Ottawa Patio Dining at La Dolce Vita in Little Italy – Safe & Healthy

Thanks to the lifting of COVID-19 restrictions in Ottawa, patio dining has once again become an option.

At La Dolce Vita, our Preston Street patio is now open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 3-9pm. We are happy to welcome you to our socially distanced patio, and kindly ask that you book a reservation in advance.

By letting us know how many guests will be in your group, we can continue to ensure that social distancing is in place throughout the duration as required.
